Parc Frédéric Pic invites visitors to experience a unique blend of history, art, and nature in Vanves, France. Spanning roughly five hectares, the park offers a peaceful pond with an island, expansive open lawns, a lively playground, and a quiet area for reflection. Its main entrance at Place du Président Kennedy welcomes guests along with additional access from nearby streets, all easily reachable by buses and the Vanves-Malakoff station on the Paris-Montparnasse line.

Originally, this site was the residence of the Duchess de Mortemart around the mid-eighteenth century. Later, during the French Revolution, the estate was sold as national property before being acquired in the early nineteenth century by Félix Voisin. Soon after, it transformed into a health facility with a series of cottage-style pavilions and even repurposed an old icehouse as a chapel.

Notable sculptures add to the park’s charm. In nineteen seventy-one, a monumental bronze head by Michel Serraz entitled F. Pic was installed in tribute to Frédéric Pic, a former mayor who left a lasting legacy. Another striking work by Paul Roussel, known as Nonia, danseuse à Pompéi or Fleur du Vésuve, further enriches the cultural tapestry of the space.
