Welcome to Parc de la Planchette, a historic public park in Levallois-Perret near Paris. Set among over eight acres of neatly kept lawns and colorful flower beds, this park offers a blend of natural beauty and local history. Once part of a large estate owned by Count Jean-Baptiste Berthier in eighteen hundred six, the area transformed over time and opened its gates to everyone in nineteen twenty-four. Its evolution reflects a rich legacy dating back to the early eighteenth century.
As you stroll through the park, you will notice several remarkable monuments. One bronze group statue honors Louise Michel, a figure remembered for her passionate spirit. Another monument commemorates the Battle of Toba, celebrating the bravery of Captain Braun and Maréchal Mortier. Artistic features by Émile Derré, Edgar Boutry, Amedée Doublemard, and others contribute to the park’s distinctive charm.
