Musée Jacquemart-André offers a glimpse into Parisian elegance and a rich artistic legacy. Housed in a former private mansion built between eighteen sixty-nine and eighteen seventy-six, the museum preserves its original charm with fifteen beautifully decorated rooms that capture the refined lifestyle of the French elite during the Third Republic.

This historic home was commissioned by the passionate art enthusiasts Édouard André and his wife Nélie Jacquemart. They carefully designed the mansion to display an exceptional collection of art and decorative objects, which now includes exquisite paintings, sculptures, tapestries, and more. Among the treasures on display are masterpieces by renowned artists such as Botticelli, Rembrandt, and Tiepolo, representing Italian, French, Dutch, Flemish, and Spanish art.

Inside, visitors explore spaces like the Grand Salon and the Winter Garden, where every room tells its own story with elegant decor and thoughtful design. Architectural highlights include a grand staircase inspired by the Opéra Garnier, a large courtyard, and a magnificent terrace that looks onto the Boulevard Haussmann.

Since its inauguration in December nineteen thirteen by President Raymond Poincaré, Musée Jacquemart-André has played an active role in contemporary culture through temporary exhibitions and cultural events. Recent restoration work completed in autumn two thousand twenty-three has ensured that its artistic treasures remain preserved for future generations.
