Welcome to Musée Grévin, a historic wax museum located at ten Boulevard Montmartre in the ninth arrondissement of Paris. Founded by Arthur Meyer on June fifth, eighteen eighty-two, the museum began by featuring wax figures that illustrated stories from the newspaper Le Gaulois. Over time, it has evolved into a family-friendly venue displaying more than two hundred fifty lifelike figures of famous individuals from science, politics, art, sports, cinema, and history.

The museum guides visitors through themed rooms that bring history to life. You can explore a grand marble staircase that welcomes you into an illusion-filled Palais des Mirages, wander along a red carpet area, and experience live performances in the Théâtre Grévin, where both historical events and current personalities are celebrated. The building itself is adorned with elegant baroque décor, with notable features such as the detailed Coupole and the Salle des Colonnes, preserving a legacy from its early days.

From scenes capturing the fervor of the French Revolution to interactive displays and magic shows in the Cabinet Fantastique, Musée Grévin tells stories of significant moments and figures, including Einstein, Gandhi, Michael Jackson, and Alfred Hitchcock. This unique blend of art, history, and entertainment ensures that visitors of every age leave with a deeper understanding of culture and a memorable experience in Paris.
