Welcome to Jardins du Trocadéro, a treasured public park in Paris’s sixteenth arrondissement that offers unforgettable views of the Eiffel Tower across the Seine. Once part of old convent estates and quarries, this site transformed over time. Its history began with a garden for the Trocadéro Palace built for the Exposition Universelle of eighteen seventy-eight, and it took on a new life when redesigned for a major international exhibition in nineteen thirty-seven.

The transformation was led by renowned architect Roger-Henri Expert and marked by artistic contributions from celebrated sculptors. A highlight is the famous Fountain of Warsaw. With its central cascade and twenty water jets arranged in elegant basins, the fountain was carefully renovated to maintain its historical charm.

Today, this green haven combines art, history, and recreation. It has hosted international exhibitions, films, and even the opening ceremony of a recent Summer Olympics. Jardins du Trocadéro is a must-see destination that continues to enchant visitors from around the world.
