Located at two Rue Ronsard in the eighteenth arrondissement of Paris, at the foot of Montmartre, Halle Saint-Pierre offers a unique journey through art and history. Originally built in nineteen eighty-six, this building has played many roles over the years, beginning as a market and school before serving as a municipal garage. In nineteen ninety-five, it began a new chapter by transforming into a museum dedicated to nonconventional art.

Today, visitors can explore collections that span naive art, art brut, outsider art, and singular artistic expressions. The museum hosts three to four temporary exhibitions each year, featuring both collective and individual shows that highlight the talents of emerging and established artists. These exhibitions cover a range of themes, including mysticism, the unconscious, and folk art, providing a fresh perspective on creative exploration.

Halle Saint-Pierre also nurtures alternative practices by offering a dedicated gallery space for artists without commercial representation and a specialized bookstore that features publications on alternative art forms.
