Dalí Paris is a museum exhibition dedicated to the surreal art of Salvador Dalí. Opened in nineteen ninety-one in the historic Montmartre district near Place du Tertre in Paris, the venue offers visitors a journey into an imaginative and unconventional world. The exhibition displays around three hundred original artworks that mix Dalí’s renowned surreal paintings with three-dimensional sculptures, engravings, and lithographs.

The curated Dalí Universe, assembled by Italian gallerist Beniamino Levi, connects Dalí’s work with broader surrealist themes through pieces like the Space Elephant and Alice in Wonderland. The displays also interpret themes such as religious narratives, memories of surrealism, and literary influences like Don Quixote. Specific artworks, including representations of Moses and monotheism, add depth and context to the collection.

In addition to its permanent displays, Dalí Paris hosts temporary exhibitions that blend traditional art forms with contemporary practices. Past shows have featured elements from fashion and optical illusions to street art and Dalí’s work on jewelry and gold items. The museum enriches the visitor experience with creative workshops for children and curated background music that enhances the surreal ambiance. With two adjacent galleries showcasing both Dalí’s pieces and contemporary art, the exhibition remains a vibrant and evolving celebration of surreal creativity.
