Welcome to Parc de la Planchette, a historic public park in Levallois-Perret, near Paris. Spread over more than eight acres of well-maintained lawns and vibrant flower beds, this park offers a delightful blend of natural beauty and local history. Originally part of a large estate owned by Count Jean-Baptiste Berthier in eighteen oh six, the area has evolved over time and welcomed the public in nineteen twenty-four. Its transformation reflects a rich heritage that dates back to the early eighteenth century.
As you wander through the park, you'll come across several notable monuments. One prominent bronze statue pays tribute to Louise Michel, known for her passionate and spirited activism. Another monument commemorates the Battle of Toba, honouring the valour of Captain Braun and Maréchal Mortier. Artistic contributions by Émile Derré, Edgar Boutry, Amedée Doublemard, among others, add to the park's unique appeal.
