Lafayette Anticipations is a contemporary art museum located at five rue du Plâtre in the historic Marais area of Paris. Originally constructed in eighteen sixty-seven for the Bazar de l’Hôtel de Ville, the building has undergone a remarkable transformation. Under the guidance of the acclaimed architect Rem Koolhaas and his team at the Office for Metropolitan Architecture, the building’s industrial essence was maintained while a modern glass and steel tower was added. This approximately eighteen-metre tall tower presents a striking contrast with the building's original allure.

Since it opened in March two thousand eighteen, Lafayette Anticipations has evolved into a lively centre for art, design, and fashion. The venue hosts a variety of exhibitions and interdisciplinary projects that combine art, design, and social commentary.
